TPMS Tool Replacement
Special deal for Summer 2008 only!
We are regularly asked if we would consider a trade-in of one of the older style tools on the market from either Bartec or one of our competitors. Many of these tools were bought before the importance of decoding the TPMS UHF output and displaying the results was understood by the market let alone relearning the vehicle and turning off the TPMS warning light. As a service to our new customers we are offering a deal for the Summer 2008 months only.
We will offer a $20 trade-in discount for any TPMS tool against the purchase of one of our Wheelrite TECH300 products (TECH300 or TECH300 Plus) purchased during Summer 2008 (June, July and August). To qualify you will also need to return your old tool with your order. The trade-in will only be accepted on receipt of order and proof of dispatch within the qualifying trade-in period i.e. before August 31st 2008.

Why replace:
Many of the early designs of TPMS tools from our competitors did not enable the tool to differentiate between signals emanating from the wheel in front of the tool and other UHF signals (keyfobs, other TPMS cars etc). Now that it is understood that the dealer is liable for work carried out on TPMS cars it is clear that tools which are able to decode the signal, display the data, support the diagnosis of problems, relearn the vehicle ECU and turn out the warning light are much more useful and add much greater value to the customer.
Recycling:
We have set up a deal with an electronics recycling company to ensure that the returned products are disposed of using a process approved of by International Environmental disposal guidelines to minimize the resulting electronics waste.
