April 2013 Bartec Announces Certified ATS Advanced Instructor Training for 2013
TIA is taking its award winning Automotive Tire Service (ATS) Certification Course back on the road and will be visiting 17 cities across the U.S. Those who attend the 4-day class will be certified as Advanced ATS Instructors, allowing them to certify ATS Instructors and Technicians in the field.
Certified Automotive Tire Service (ATS) is a 300 and 400-level certification program that provides in-depth and comprehensive instruction on the recommended procedures for servicing modern automobiles and light trucks. Certified ATS is designed for the professional passenger and light truck tire technician so the subjects range from the relationship between torque and clamping force to the TPMS relearn procedures on domestic and import vehicles.

March 2013 Bartec Announces NEW National Sales Manager
Bartec, Industry leader in TPMS tools and solutions announces the hiring of automotive aftermarket veteran, Steve Donaldson, formally of Schrader International. Steve is a long time automotive aftermarket professional of more than 25 years. His vast experience in the parts and tools categories, particularly in TPMS, makes a perfect fit for the Bartec team. “Steve has a solid ability to manage sales, provide marketing and product training; and he has the right balance of sales and technical expertise which makes Steve an asset on day one,” according to Steve Long, Bartec Sales Manager.
While at Schrader, Steve became very well versed in TPMS and has held the TIA/ATS trainer status for the last four years. Steve’s ability to teach and train while working with customers on TPMS has played a large part in his proven track record. Steve has conducted hundreds of TPMS clinics over the last 6 years. TPMS is certainly the hottest topic in the world of automotive aftermarket and repair.
