Complete Toyota & Lexus ODB Relearns With Ease Using You Gen II Bartec TPMS Tool

Today's Tech Tip will walk users through the OBD relearn process step-by-step, helping technicians perform accurate TPMS Service and getting the vehicle back on the road quickly and efficiently.

Overview:
This document will outline the OBD Relearn on a Toyota or Lexus vehicle using a GEN II Bartec TPMs Tools.

Process:

1. Inflate Tires to Placard.
2. Using VINdicate® or MMY Listing, select vehicle.
3. Navigate to Relearn > Relearn: OBD RITE-SYNC®.
4. Following on tool prompts, read all sensor IDs starting at the LF tire.
5. Following on tool prompts, connect cable or wireless VCI to the vehicles OBDII Port.
6. Cycle key/push button to ignition ON Engine OFF.
7. Press ENTER on tool to begin writing IDs:
1. Tool will begin reading VIN, reading DTCs, and Writing IDs. Please ensure each step is followed by a ✓.
8. Once IDs are written, the TPMS light will now be flashing. Leave vehicle in ON position and re-activate sensors starting at the LF tire.
9. Start Engine and verify TPMS light is off.
